6 Super Tools
1. Ipad 1;1- Kids are native digital learners. They love Ipads. Using Ipads to promote research about the world, asking them to find cities and places on google maps or allowing them to create projects using apps such as I-movies, MineCraft, etc. will definitely increase their level of engagement and interest on your topic.
2. Laptop and Chromebooks- Some projects require laptops so you can do more and add more details. Having the opportunity to also using laptop increases students' chances of being successful on their projects and research. And also, don't forget the students who never have their Ipads charged.
3. The Computer Lab has big screen monitors what is great for presentations and virtual classes.
4. Using SmartBoard is a great tool for elementary students. They love the chance to go move characters, write and erase answers, play games and interact with the SmartBoard. I used it mostly with children from kindergarten through 2rd grade.
5. Apple Tv- During class, it's really easy for students to share their work and presentations by using Apple TV. It's much easier than having them share their projects with you and then showing them through your computer. While they present it, I grade and make comments.
6. Maker Space - children love hands-on projects. They can build a lot of things on their Maker Space and even print using the 3D-printer. Children can be creative and solve problems in this space.
