On July11th I will be going to India with my cohort of Teachers for Global Classroom -#TGC #IREX.
I will be there during my birthday- July 13th.
I don't know where in India yet, but I'm so excited.
I'm also so confused. What are we going to be doing there? Where are we going? Where are we staying?
So many unanswered questions about our trip, so many unanswered questions about India, so many unanswered questions about how I can respect their many different ethnic groups and religions. I feel like now I need to go on an expedition to discover about India.
My main question is: How do people get along in a country with more than 2,000 different ethnic groups (National Geographic) and so many different religions? How do students learn to deal with so many different perspectives and cultures? Is bullying a reality there?
To start my research and investigation, I will be pinteresting articles, sites and books about India. There I go on a book trip until I go on the real one.
Feeling curious, excited and blessed.
